About Us

The Miss Northern Lights Organization is committed to empowering young women not only through higher education, but also by giving them the skills to be successful in their future careers. Miss Northern Lights serves her community by promoting her individual community service initiative and volunteering at local non-profit organizations in her community. Women born 1996-2006 , who attend school, live or work full-time in Wisconsin are eligible to compete in the Miss program, while young women born 2006-2010 are eligible to compete in the Teen program. 

 

We are a preliminary competition to the Miss Wisconsin and Miss America Competitions. The Miss Northern Lights Organization is run by volunteers and is dedicated to the "Four Points" of the crown: Scholarship, Service, Style and Success. We are a sister-affiliate of the Miss Wisconsin Rapids Scholarship Organization.
