The Miss Northern Lights Outstanding Teen Organization crowned its first delegate in 2016. It is an opportunity not only to provide young women scholarship money for higher education, but to give teen girls the opportunity to represent the Miss Northern Lights Organization in the Miss Wisconsin's Teen Competition. The teen competition is an open-competition,  meaning that any young woman who lives or goes to school full-time in Wisconsin is eligible to compete. There is a $100 non-refundable entry fee for each Teen Contestant. 

 

Miss Northern Lights' Teen will win a $250 scholarship and a trip to Miss Wisconsin's Teen! Through her participation in the program she will be able to spread awareness about a cause she cares deeply about, increase her public speaking and leadership skills, showcase her talent and form lasting friendships with peers and mentors who share her passion for community service, scholarship, and success. We are looking for a young woman who is talented, intelligent, service-minded, driven and engaging!

Teen Contestants will compete in the following areas of competition: Private Interview with the judges, Health & Fitness in Activewear,  Talent/HERstory, Evening Wear, and Onstage Question.

 

The Miss Northern Lights Competition is a one-day event and is meant to be fun! Contestants will arrive in the morning, rehearse, have their private interview with the judges, then compete in the competition that same evening. There will be no rehearsal time before the day of the pageant. Please come prepared to compete. If this is your first time competing, don't worry! Requirements of Competition

To compete, you must:

• Be born in the years 2006-2010

• Be a United States citizen.

• Live, work or go to school full-time in Wisconsin.

• Be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements.

• Be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities of Miss Northern Light's Teen

• Be available to compete in the Miss Wisconsin's  Teen Competition in June  2024.

Once you contact us, you will then be given a username and password where you can access the "Contestant Portal". There you will find all the information you need to compete in the Miss Northern Lights Outstanding Teen Pageant.   The first 10 teen contestants who successfully submit their $100 entry fee  will be accepted as contestants. After contestant  spots have been filled, a waiting list will be created.
